MUS 116 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Sorta interested Grade Received: N/A

I found this class to be quite difficult. Gives you a listening list of songs which you must memorize artist, song title, year and album. Has a passions for what he does, shows a lot of music examples in class and shows a lot of 'boring' videos. Attend every class, learn the music, pay attention in class and do the research paper is all.

MUS101 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: Mandatory Textbook Use: Essential to passing Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

I took this class because I needed to fulfill the fine arts req, no previous knowledge of music required, but it was SO HARD. Had to learn to read, compose and transpose music. Turn in ORIGINAL Composition worth 10% of grade. Learned over 75 different Major/Minor scales, this class is impossible to pass without being present and doing workbook hw.

Music Fundamentals can be hard if you don't try to understand it yourself but he will explain everything in class. He really tries to reach out for the class.

Great teacher, no homework, concert report is a must. To get a good grade, you must study. I didn't study that much so I got a C. Some topics are very interesting, while others are boring. Really knows his music. An obvious big fan of the Beatles and Lady Gaga, among others.

Great Professor. He is truely dedicated in his music teaching. Music Fundamentals can be difficult if you don't keep up on your text book exercises. I would recommend this class to anyone who likes music.

I got a C, (without an ounce of effort) but take no pride in that. I regret not taking the class more serious. Missing class will effect you majorly. The book will actually help you a lot, but you must go to class to get the terms to look up. Concert report required. I never attended a concert and got an A on the report. Mid terms = everything

Extremely passionate about his subject, teaches very well. Music Fundamentals class seems difficult, but he concisely answers questions, and is willing to explain in depth.

Professor Kenney obviously loves his subject and he exudes that passion in the classroom. You WILL learn this subject. The class is interesting and easy if you study. If you don't get an "A", it'll most likely be your fault.
