CHM105 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: Low Grade Received: N/A

The class is much easier if you've ever taken chem before but it's still an interesting class. She's pretty clear and you really only need to study her powerpoint slides to do well. She's easy to contact for help, too (she's on facebook). Kind of unprofessional though. She says retard and retarded in class, which was really shocking and offensive.

She is very nice and very interesting but she doesn't understand that people are taking her class because they have to and not because the want to. If you don't understand science don't take this class its too hard and too much hassle to study to fail

The class is really hard for an intro class and most people taking it are trying to fulfill a core. You HAVE to study. She is wonderful at trying to help you better understand the material. Go see her and you will do better in the class!

If you are not a science major, STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLASS. The amount of work you have to put in to merely understand what the hell she is talking about is outrageously high and a waste of time. Unlike other teachers, she doesn't grasp how to teach to non-majors.

CHM105 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: Meh Grade Received: N/A

Wayyyyy too hard for an intro course meant for non-science majors. If looking to fill a nat. science requirement, avoid this class at all costs.

Gosselin really loves teaching this class, and to get an A, you better too. Lots of reading and the class is fast-paced. 5 quizzes, a midterm, and a final make up your grade. Good to have a chemistry background, but if you are good with math you should be fine too. Not a joke core class, but you'll learn a ton about about environmental issues.

If you're looking for an easy nat. sci. credit this isn't it, but because it's not a joke you actually learn something. She mostly reads from her PowerPoint slides but you're so busy trying to get the info down you don't have time to be bored. I don't recommend this class for people who aren't at least a little scientifically minded.

Seemed an easy class 4 those who arent chem majors+looking 2 fulfill the nat. science requirement til problems on tests werent practiced or demonstrated in class.Attendence isnt mandatory but theres inclass assignments that if u miss can take a beating on ur grade. Every class is slideshow + she reads right off of them no explanation or math ex.'s

This teahcer is awful. The class is way too demanding for a non science major class. She does not know how to teach by any means. She believes teaching is putting up powerpoint presentations and reading the slides. She does not go over any of the problems she has on the tests and makes you do all the work in your spare time.
