I loved her. She's energetic, modern, passionate, intelligent, and a very good listener. She's open to all comments within a sometimes controverisal cannon of discussion. She is still teaching but unfortunately, no longer at Fordham.

TERRIBLE!!! she switches topics all the time, goes from one chapter then skips to another, and then to different books. Very confusing! She gets mad if your late & then you have to sit OUTSIDE the circle and not allowed to participate if you are a minute late. This class was ridiculous! It made me hate the subject.

She now teaches for Case Western Reserve University, and in my opinion she is very wordy, and too abstract. Everything is perfectly ok with her, as long as long as you make up a crazy opinion. She doesn't understand how to concisely make a point.

Well she wasn't that bad, but whenever she talks, for some reason I never understand what she says. She uses too many words to explain things. The class isn't so bad though, it was a lot less painful for a Theology course than I had expected.
THEO14
Terrible teacher who bores her students to death. Does not know much about the material she is teaching and evades hard theological questions.

Prof. Bostic is an okay professor. The thing that bothered me most in the class was I wasn't interested in the liberation perspectives of religion. There's a lot of reading material involved and participation is really important!

Professor Bostic is awesome. I'm actually really surprised nobody has written comments about her before. Not only is she one of the few Profs. who actually engages her students and encourages discussion, but she'll also take her class(es) on short class-long field trips. She is extremely talented and a joy to have as a Prof. Highly recommended.
