I had Unger in 2003. His is Brilliant! It's funny to read the negative comments. He may have been late, he may use old texts, but only because they are clear examples of the issue at hand and he may appear disorganized but it was very clear to me that it was simply a matter of a brain working faster and thinking more broadly than time would allow.

741 Innovation Taken for Credit:Yes Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Disorganized, unprepared and ranting professor with little academic prowess. Totally threw out $3600 with this course. Facilitator was confused and did not follow the syllabus for grading and participation. Had high expectations going in and felt totally robbed at the end. BTW- he is always LATE with grades, papers etc.

MET AD 741 Taken for Credit:Yes Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: What textbook? Rater Interest: Really into it Grade Received: N/A

Has to be the worst professor so far. Never on time, usually unprepared. Leaves teaching up to handpicked and IMO unqualified TAs. Never returns material on time, confusing syllabus, teaches from old case studies and a washed up book. Uses "guests" for his lectures and constantly interrupts. Do not take this course unless you have to.

Excellent class - case studies and lots of reading. Not easy but very, very useful for the motivated and entrepreneurial student/professional.

Just finished course with Professor Barry Unger -- in innovation and national development. This is a great professor, the best I have had, with much practical experience in business. I learned a lot from him and from the active class discussions. He is really smart guy and really show us how to make money and succeed in business. The materials and

TM520 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: Barely cracked it open Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

Students in this class will find a disorganized, dishonest, and unfair atmosphere run more by an unqualified TA than an accomplished professional. Unger's professional career has been a success, however he is not suited to teach at this level, the TA should focus only on whatever it was that kept her too busy to grade or respond to questions.

Expert in the field, not an expert teacher. Unclear grading criteria. Teacher's Assistant was equally unhelpful. I had a terrible time with this experience. How old is Kawasaki's book now?

Worst professor of my college career. Expert in the field, not in teaching. Terrible lecturer, always late to class, always ran the class late, late returning grades, liar, extremely rude, inexperienced TA ... the list goes on. Do not recommend to anyone!

TM520 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

Excellent experience and knowledge, BUT... 5-15 minutes late to almost every class. Kept us late almost every class. Suprise midterm, unclear grading criteria, constantly modified syllubus throughout the semester, late turning in grades, rude to guests and students, vindictive, relied on a TA who seemed to be an enabler, and WORST LECTURER EVER.

Interesting subject ruined by a professor with too much on his plate. Never started or finished on-time; completely unorganized; incomplete syllabus (unclear grading policy & assignments); intruded on guest speaker time and subject; 4-5 weeks to return assignments; unresponsive to emails and phone call, excuse, too busy with another class.

Very unorganized, horrible lecturer, every other word is uh or um. Course involves a group project and the professor heavily uses email and the internet. Does not let out early.
