The syllabus was exactly what he wanted for the Family Studies course and was easy to get an A. Wrote a few papers, no discussions or interactions with other students which I didn't mind. Graded you on your personal touch and work. One paper I didn't even site correctly and still got an A. He is looking for your personal story so elaborate!

The reading/book was good and I learned a lot. Answer questions straight from book, no test, or quizzes. I liked that professor allowed students to include experiences and opinions when answering questions. The more you write, the better...

True distance learning. 4 writing assignments that march through the text. 5th assignment reflects upon all aspects of conflict management. Instructor identifies upfront that A=Excellent work, B=Very Goodl Work, C= Below Average Work, and D= Substantially below average work.

Fair instructor but tough to get an A...received an 89%. Elaborate on your personal experiences & use plenty of references. Good professor. Would take him again.

I really enjoyed this class. The professor was straight forward about the material and his expectations. Fair, open to questions and comments, very approachable. I would wholeheartedly recommend this professor.

NO! NO! Please save yourself time and money. I ended up withdrawing from this course. He does not believe in people EARNING A's..no matter what kind of work you do, references you provide, or how above and beyond you execute the assignment. What makes one believe that others are incapable of earning an A? Now there's some psychology behind that!

States in syllabus that he does not give feedback on A or B work. Very true. No feedback; no responses to questions via email. Very arrogant and rude man.

Worse instructor at Amberton. He does not respond to emails. When I reported this over his head, he sent very hateful email suggesting I withdraw from his course. I stuck it out; and got an A. What a shock that was. From what I hear, he doesn't give As. Never take his courses.

I would take this instructor again. He gives good feedback. He is very hard and that challenges one to learn.

This is an online course. The book and exercises are helpful. The weblinks for the book don't work, but can be found with research.

Not a lot of interaction with students but a very good professor. He is fair and provides relevant feedback to assignments and answers student questions in a timely manner. States he rarely gives A's but working very hard will be rewarded - I received an A in this course.

This guy is straight forward and to the point. He tells you right up front in the syllabus - "I DO NOT GIVE A's". Well, that comment will really "encourage" you to work hard!! Good Luck! Try as hard as you might - NO A's!!!

Motihbd4 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: You need it sometimes Rater Interest: It's my life Grade Received: N/A

Another teacher who doesn't help his students and who doesn't use the grading scale of the school. For example, 90-100 is an A but he doesn't necessarily give an A even if you do perfect work...his own words. This is a worse reflection on the University than on him, because they allow it.
