Very up front Professor tells it like it is! Strict yet compassionate! Follow the rules and take good notes and you will do fine. I learned a lot in her class even though I didn't make an "A" It was because I hadn't been in school for over 40 years and was not sure of my study habits. That's my bad not hers!

I really really don't recommend this class to anyone. Lessons were dull and I was lost and confused. It made me dread everyday that I had to go it just gave off that feeling. Please don't take Psy 101 with this professor. Bad experience. If you have to then be prepared because its an experience I will never forget. I don't recommend this to anyone.

I wouldn't suggest this class. She lectures the whole class, talks too fast & they her assignments are all in groups. She gives out only one copy of it and expects for the group leader to copy it & pass it to members. She goes off topic TOO MUCH. If you want money's worth & to pass, choose another professor.

She is a nice lady. She gets off topic quite a lot. You need to take notes jn order to pass! She talks really fast, so be ready to be an attentive listener. There are group projects which isn't the best idea; you learn to not count on others unfortunately.

She talks the whole time. No texting at all. Shes nice. no quizzes. Assignments are in groups she assigns. She'll assign 3 movies to watch & want a review on it. Then you must present it. The final is easy if you complete the study guide and study it. She'll give some answers on final.

She's a very nice teacher but it's nearly impossible for me to learn when not a single assignment is issued except for one. All she does is lecture and gets off topic about raising babies, I hate kids. She only gives one person in each group the study guide, which I had a hassle obtaining since my leader didn't check her email. really disappointed.

Extremely nice lady, very generous, and humble. However, I hate the class. I'm a visual learner and her style of teaching is verbal. She just sits and dictates everything. Gets off topic all the time, no organized notes (drives me crazy), and doesn't tell you your grade. Also, mandatory to watch three movies with assigned group. DON'T RECOMMEND.

Her field of psychology is focused on drug abuse, so she emphasizes that a lot. she goes over what's on the final and is very lenient but not on attendance. there's only 3 assignments and one group project

Professor walker is a very nice woman. But if you want to learn about psychology I wouldn't suggest taking her class. However if you just want to take the class because you have to then it is a great class. You really can't fail as long as you show up and do the 3 assignments that she gives you.

disliked this class so much. it was easy due to lack of homework and just group projects. doesn't clarify anything or have notes prepared. i could have learned the subject better just by buying the book (which i did). such a disappointment. don't waste your time.

Prof. Walker is a good teacher she knows her material. But you must I repeat you MUST take notes on her lectures. She really dont cover much in the book. No homework given but a group project and a final. She went over the final in class. So all in all she is pretty easy

Professor Walker is a very sweet and understanding professor, and she knows her material. When lecturing she goes off topic and when it comes to assignments she is a little confusing. There are about 5 homework assignments, a group project, and a final which basically makes up your grade, but she reviews what's on the final. Read the book!!!

Prof. Walker is a very knowledgeable professor who is always willing to help. The workload is so light and easy but I have to say you do have to do a Chpt presentation and oral presentations at the end but those are fairly easy. No mid-term just a final.

Great Professor, After reading some comments I think she should get more credit. I took her over a year ago and I still remember things she taught me to this day.

The professor is nice, however, she doesn't explain anything. Also, she only talks about her family and her patients she became friends with. This class is not the one to take if you're really interested in psychology.

I worked hard for my grade because I want to LEARN. That is why I am going to college. She is a great professor and she will hold you accountable for your actions! No cell phones no food, that is the way it should be! Show up on time pay attention and you will LEARN! She even tells you what to study for on the tests This was a great class!
