Very knowledgeable of the subject and is interested in her students learning the material. She was always available for help outside of the classroom.

Dr. Arano is a great professor, I would recommend taking her class. She has study guides for every exam, including the final. The lowest grade I received on a test was an 81.There are 2 projects that may seem hard at first but are not once you get going. There are hw's for every chapter, these were the hardest part of the entire class.

pretty stong accent but you can still understand her. Does do alot of graph on boards. Gives powerpoints through oncourse but leaves blank spots for you to fill in when she goes over them in class. pretty tough tests.

Terrible teacher. She draws graphs on the board and you can't read what the hell it is.

Business Research & Quantitative Methods. First half was easy. Second half super difficult. Probably a mixture of the method (online) and the subject matter (statistics) but this is one of (if not THE) hardest class I've ever taken. The instructor seems willing to help out and tries to give further guides and information.

Fabulous teacher! She is wonderful about giving examples from the book to help relate with the current topic. She gives quizzes to know what to expect on the exam. Economics is not easy to teach, she does it very well. If you do what she expects of you the class will be enjoyable.

She's a great teacher. She goes over all of the information during her lectures, and then covers every topic and detail on the exam in a study session the class before each exam. If you take really thorough notes that session, you should get a 100% on your test. She is good & fair. A lot of people fail, but they usually put in very little effor
IDS300
Took the class online: textbook is Economics of SOCIAL ISSUES but the tests are extremely technical with economic equations and graphs & the text is not at all technical & deals with social issues & how economics plays a role. Since there is no lecture component to explain the technical issues, no one is prepared for the test! Class avg is a D!
