Assignments were unclear. Reading burden was very heavy, but about 80% was never tested or discussed. Would not recommend this teacher.

Class got really pointless after awhile; ambiguous assignments- group assignments. No final, but there was a midterm and a final paper where the question was extremely vague. Don't discuss readings, you're on your own for those. Would not take another class with this prof.

Terrible class. There were only two or so people who seemed genuinely focused on what was being taught. Pointless lectures... the prof just droned off and didn't connect the dots at all.

I attended the lectures and found the rewarding. I would recommend taking this class. He is very helpful.

I do not recommend taking a class with this teacher. Everything he says in class is based on PowerPoint slides posted online, and he is hard to understand. The TA's were useless, too. Take IR with someone else.

The course is very note-taking intensive and I don't know a single thing he's said out loud because I've been concentrating on getting all the notes. So, I don't really understand anything. BUT he's absolutely adorable and makes cute jokes so I keep going to class.
