Prof. Pickering was by far my favorite professor this semester. He does a great job at explaining the lessons, and is always willing to stay after class to help. His tests aren't too hard, and he gives you a study guide with the exact questions on it. Great professor, i would highly suggest this class.

Pickering is great. He's clear and obviously understands the readings very well. He's a bit eccentric, but it's in an upbeat way, and it keeps the class fun. I don't know why anyone would say he's difficult unless they just didn't do the work or go to class because he spells everything out completely.

If you keep up with the reading, you will do fine. Aristotle is wise. As is Mark. Don't fall behind and you'll love the class. Go to his office hours--he'll give you so much more insight into the somewhat difficult reading. Plus, he's funny.
