Mr. Garcia is one of the best math instructors from all campuses. I took college algebra, Buss calc, and pre-calc with him. he explains very good and help a lot during class. I hightly recommend to take any math class with him.

He's a GREAT math professor. I've always been intimidated by math and i got an A because i clearly understood what he was explaining. He is very helpful and doesn't make you feel stupid if you ask questions. It's helpful to do homework but he does give a review for all the exams. Great Professor and i strongly recommend him for college algebra.

Great professor. His exams are pretty much identical to the practice exams. He explains very well. If you don't under stand he will go over it again. He will also work with you if you receive a low grad on a test, he let's you retest. I highly recommend him.

Enjoyed this class, and highly recommend it. He is very thorough and works problems out in class! You need book for HW.

Super nice, will answer any questions. Gives examples that are straight to the point. As long as you go everyday to take the notes, you should be fine to use it as a guide. homework is given but not required.(gives extra credit for it).. practice test are given before the exam. WOULD RECOMMEND! easy A!

I SUGGEST TO ANYONE TAKING BUSINESS CALCULUS OUGHT TO TAKE IT DURIN FALL/SPRING. THAT WAY YOU HAVE MORE TIME TO TAKE IT ALL IN.SUMMER IS SUPER FAST PACE.YOU REALLY HAV TO KNO UR BASIC ALGEBRA.HE'S WILLING TO EXPLAIN SO ASK QUESTIONS! I hate ANY kind of math. I took him for college algebra & I got an A.(Not bad for someone who tested out of remedials) He is a pretty good teacher. He helps only if you ask. I recommend taking him. Pay attention, go to class, take notes, ask for help, do homework & practice tests(though not required)& you're sure to get an A.

very clear about explaining things, but does tend to go over the chapters kinda fast. you NEED the book.

Takes his time to teach. Always asks if we have questions. Like that he's Hispanic and can understand him very well!!

Well i hate math but i managed to receive an A in his class... always answers question and replies to e-mails quickly. explained everything thoroughly.. i recommend him

Class is bearable 4a non-math major.Ask questions when he gives u the chance 2!He will help if u ask 4 it!Nt exceedingly patient.Does nt give make up tests.Lecture is the EXACT same thing as the book.If u knw ur going2B missing class, get the notes & READ THE BOOK!Made a B & I missed alot of class.Pay attention in lectures!U get the grade U wrk 4!

He is arrogant and not very helpful at all. I got A's on the tests, but when i asked a question he didn't want to answer it in class, he told me i could go to his office during his office hours, which is insane. He also covers the material very quickly. I love math, but i did not like his class at all. Very disappointing.
