This course was very interesting! It was worth going to his lectures. The course consisted of a midterm, a group project (fun), and a final exam. His tests consisted of short answer questions about important concepts in each of the chapters. As long as you study and do the work, you should do well. Overall, I think he was an awesome professor!

He used to work at IBM. He does a good job at explaining globalization, due to the insight he learned at IBM. If you disregard his slides and just study the textbook you can do a good job, like how IBM does as a job on the global market. His stories are pretty interesting and you will learn a lot about multinational corporations, such as IBM.

Course was good, but Mark needs to tell entrepreneur presenters not to advertise their businesses - as students don't really care. Should focus on explaining their entrepreneurial journey and the start-up process. Courses like this on the startup process are better at other uni's such as Stanford.

This class was definitely a waste of time, prof is really boring to listen to, hard to concentrate. Heard enough about how he worked at IBM back in the day. Only reason to show up is for clicker questions.

If it weren't for the clicker quizzes nobody would've gone to class. Since we do go, it's him going on and on about his experience at Deloitte while 200-ish first-years are streaming videos on their laptops. You can't study for Clicker or exam questions, as they are mostly common sense (Bob Sproule's interpretation of it anyway). Good luck, kids.

Also AFM 131, this prof literally put me to sleep. My group members and I spent our classes on facebook chat and competing in Tetris tournies. If you can get Sproule instead, he is MUCH better. Exams are stupidly hard, not like practise ones given at all.

this class is sooo boring! all of the information you need to know is in the textbook/on ace! the only reason worth coming to class is for the iclicker questions... other than that, it's a complete waste of time!

You don't necessarily need to attend this class, because he basically repeats everything thats already on the internet for you. SO if you do the modules online, class is pretty much pointless. BUT.... HES SEXY, so GO ;) (L) (L) (L)

Good class, I'm not too sure what it was about, but it was a good class. Mark is a good prof be he seems kinda sleepy sometimes and reluctant to answer questions. Basically all you do is listen to a bunch of enterpreneurs talking and you do a presentation in the end.

CS330 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: N/A Rater Interest: N/A Grade Received: N/A

If you have a chance to avoid taking CS330, do it. The course truly is memorization of vague and meaningless business lingo about moments of value and synergies. Here's a tip: 3rd year courses should never emphasize memorization!

CS 330 Taken for Credit:N/A Attendance: N/A Textbook Use: N/A Rater Interest: N/A Grade Received: N/A

One wonders whether this course was doomed to be boring and tedious from the beginning. CS 330 may be mostly simply memorization of concepts with no meaning, but most people were hard pressed to do the work required to get a high mark.
