History was never my thing. Moses is the first history professor I have had and he makes you work for it. You have 5 grades all semester, all exams. He is very lecture heavy so you need to take great notes and SHOW UP! Study. Study. STUDY!! Moses has high expectations for his students, which is what a college professor should have. |

Moses is awesome. There's not a whole lot more to be said, other than that he does have reasonable expectations for his students, and can hold your attention in class. Work outside class mainly includes reading, with an occasional paper. |

AMAZING LECTURES
I took Moses for couple classes through different semesters (including WW2). He is hilarious professor. Great lectures. Take lots of notes. Usually gives about 4-5 tests. History is my thing, but he makes you work for every thing you do. Unless you study really hard and thorough, don't expect a great grade. Other than that, he's a great guy |

He is an intelligent and enthusiastic prof. who obviously cares about the subject he teaches. He is pleasant enough and likable in class. However, when critiquing test results or meeting with him 1 on 1 you'd find he is very condescending and critical of students. If you miss class or are bad at names and dates don't expect it to make a A. |

This was a good course. Uses different materials to present information. Covers parts of history that are not covered in HS US history. |

Normally I like Mr. Moses. He's fun and good teacher, but semester in US History 2 slightly changed my perspective. He assigned four books and we had four tests with four essays. He's not giving extra credit. We supposed to get from Civil War to now, but we only got to 80's with skipping parts. He can't manage time. Not fun |

AMAZING LECTURES
He seemed a little intimidating at the beginning of the semester; he seemed anti-technology, etc. But once the semester gets going, you'll love his class. His class is engaging and entertaining, the reading is divided into novels (as opposed to tedious textbooks), and the tests aren't really bad. He knows his stuff, and his class is hard to fail! |

Normally, I like Dr. Moses, but when I took his US History 2, I changed my opinion little. We supposed to cover from Civil War to now, but we only got to 80's. He cannot manage time. Spends too much on social stuff like movements. Also I didn't like many of his points on certain events and people. .Little disappointed |

best professor on campus. Had him for US history II, and enjoyed every class. No textbook required, just some novels and other books that you read out of class. Very old school teaching style. |

Took Dr. Moses for TV and American society class and found it very informative and fun. Dr. Moses places events in a narrative which helps the student put historical ideas into context easily. I would recommend Dr. Moses for any history class because he holds your attention and is very enthusiastic about the subject matter. |

I took him for US History II and I enjoyed every class! He is weird about you walking in front of him and called me out on it one day, but he ultimately apologized because he felt bad. Don't use your cell phone, he hates them! A textbook wasn't used instead he came up with alternate books that are cheaper and give a specialized look at history. |

Took Moses for Summer I, US Hist I, and US Hist II. took them at the same time. I had very little problems. Summer classes for him are super easy. Not sure how full semesters are but I would def. recommend taking summer I with him if you need to knock out history classes fast! |

he is very smart and funny. he tries to make history interesting and explains mostly everything.. he will assign 5 books and there is 40 multiple choice and the same essay on every test... MAKE SURE YOU READ ALL THE BOOKS OR YOU WONT DO GOOD... he doesnt assign homework but make sure you take notes from the lectures and the powerpoints. |

Dr. Moses is a great professor. His lectures are very interesting and he's concerned with why events happened, not just the fact that they did. He gave me a better understanding about our country and its foundation. It definitely piqued my interest in history. Attend class and take good notes and you will do fine! |
