I took her class in the spring of 2017 and I never got a proper grade. Everything that people are saying about her attitude and how she handles your work is correct. Now I'm on probation with financial aid and the school because of her and no one at that school is trying to help me even though I have all the work to show for it.

I took Ms. Iwamizu during a summer semester. She's mostly what all the negative comments say about her, being boastful, prideful, argumentative, and will laugh at your questions.(if there ignorant). I feel if you're simply not intellectually sound, this professor isn't for you. I passed with an A.

Takes a long time to return papers. Requires the 2nd essay to be submitted before she returns the 1st one, so you don't know if what you submitted was correct. Changes requirements on assignments after drafts have already been turned in. Won't answer questions in class and sometimes she comes late. Boastful and rude.

When I first took this class, I thought it would be great. She seemed really understanding and caring, however, I was wrong. She rambles forever. Rarely stays on topic. She thinks that she is making a bigger impact than she really was. She is very insecure with herself, very unprofessional. Would NOT recommend at all to anyone.

Iwamizu is a great English professor, however, from looking at these comments youd think otherwise. She is a hard teacher because she wants YOU to reach your full potential and do great things. Show her that you WANT to learn and want to improve & you'll be just fine. I haven't encountered a good English prof in a while. Can truly say she's amazing

Didn't want to get a C in her class so I dropped it and retook it in the winter and got an A+ with another professor. Hands down worst profesor I ever had.

Overall the best English tech I've had in terms of trying to motivate her student 's to achieve greater things. She cares about her students who care about learning.

Has a high attitude, very bad. she gives a lot of work but doesn't answer any questions that you have. if you don't ask her about your grade you will never know about it. Her final is either a group project or a 15 paragraph essay. she hates to be corrected or questioned even if shes wrong. its either her way or the highway. i only took her class.

I would NEVER take her again, if i could. She doesn't know how to teach when you ask a question it will never get answered. I struggled to get the grade i received. she acts like your only taking her class and has a horrible attitude as if she doesn't like her job. likes to act superior to her students especially after she finally received her prof

Professor has an abstractly different way of teaching. She definatly pushes you more than any other English instructor I've had. Yet, I f you show that you are applying yourself to to work and observing the feedback she gives you will be just fine.

I took her English 145 in Fall 2016 and grading was hard but she gives you the OPPORTUNITY to get a better grade!! Take lots of notes and show her that you CARE about your own education because she loves seeing students work for their grade. I missed a few lectures and she was understanding about it also She as well offers extra credit.

This teacher was awful. No better way to say just pure awful! Strongly suggest to stay away from her.

She is a really difficult teacher, and don't want you to succeed.

She was letting the class of early to go to another school and teach, she gave us her contact info but that didn't matter cause she never responded. She never return any of my work back or gave me personal feed back, so I had nothing to improve upon. I came into this class aiming for a C- but I've failed. Craziest class I have ever taken.

Summer school class. Came late, left early. Took a long time to return assignments and kept telling us to add to the content. Wanted her name in the works cited page bc she gave us the material, but didn't write it. Is that legal? Assigned work and told us it was due after the semester ended. Are you serious? Rude and condescending. Do not take.

The teacher went missing for a month of our class, assigned projects then deleted them after we turned them in and never gave us a grade. She also failed most of the class because she only gave out one assignment and never responded to emails from our class for help. If you want to get a passing grade, stay away.

It was an accelerated class with about 25 students. Four essays and lots of extra credit opportunities. Drafts for essays were due, but she wouldn't collect them. She would just lecture more about things that could be added and then we'd fix them. Then she collected all drafts for that particular essay on the day the final essay was due.
