This professor ruins the learning experience of the school. We don't learn anything at all since she always push politics into everything, which distracts a lot.

Doesnt follow course curriculum or teach anything relevant, but forces student participation so that she can identify people she disagrees with politically and add them to her list. Spent my time in her class reading The Gulag Archipelago and The Camp of the Saints. Really opened my eyes to her lecture.

Ridiculously difficult tests designed to test your memorization skills and nothing else. Review problems and quiz concepts hardly showed up. My grade tanked after the first midterm, which are weighted heavily and far exceed the difficulty of anything else in the class.

Decent choice, took feedback after exam 1 and gave more practice problems for us which helped a lot. Exams after covid became significantly harder (online, open note). Lots of bonus opportunities during lecture.

Better researcher than teacher, did not prepare us at all for exam 1. Would give kindergarten level problems for practice then made the test crazy. Once we told her something she changed and gave more adequate practice for test two. True and false is especially tricky. Test 3 and final were online and she made them ridiculous. like impossible.

I liked Dr. Johnson a lot. She gave a LOT of bonus points. However she wasn't the greatest teacher she just read off the powerpoints. But she did post them online. She gave lots of practice for the tests which helped. The tests weren't easy A's you needed to know the material. After Covid the made the tests much harder since they were online.

Dr. Johnson was an okay professor. Her tests are much harder than the quizzes she gives and she is very stingy with her bonus points. I would feel completely ready for an exam and end up getting a C because of how specific her true false/multiple choice questions are. Make sure you study small detail

She is a really nice and caring person. You can learn everything you need to make an A just from the powerpoints on moodle, but I recommend going to class because she gives bonus points and is a good lecturer. She has been accommodating and responsive. Her tests are tricky, but way easier than Nguyen's.

Dr. Johnson is a really good professor. She posts all of her lectures on moodle and goes over them in more detail in class. Make sure you study small detail because those do come up on exams. All in all shes a good professor, study the guide and extra practice sheets she gives you and you should do fine. She also drops your lowest test grade!
