I am a current student of Dr. Bailey and have taken her course previously. I personally believe she is the best Professor I've had ever. I would not say that is difficult she holds people accountable. Which, we should look at as an asset. If her teaching style is difficult so be it. But life in general is too. She is passionate so learn from her

Some people who posted comments didn't take Dr. Bailey, took her and failed so they mad, just don't like the way she moves, and sound like they jealous and hating on her lol. Dr. Bailey cares about us, has high expectations for us and goes over and beyond to make sure we learn and pass. Lazy and entitled people should stay away.

She is really difficult in the sense that you have to work for your grade!

Dr. Bailley is not an easy teacher that's a fact. Studying just for a passing grade won't benefit you in anyways in engineering. You have to really understand the material to maximize your chances of passing. And I can tell you from experience that when you pass such a class you'll definitely have the necessary resources to tackle what comes next.

She give a quiz every week and a test every 5th week (sort of). you cannot arrive to her class after 5 mins she will not allow you in and after 3 unexcused absents you will fail. she believes you should read the text book before class. participation, just do it, it helps your grade out at the end. she love to start random convos w/ the class.

I am currently taking Dr. Bailey. After reading her ratings on here, I thought she was going to be a disorganized and mean professor. She isn't. She is very organized and presents the information in a fun way. Now I see why she tells us to question everything. The comments up here aren't true. smh

Dr. Bailey is one of the realest professors I have ever had. Not only does she know engineering, she is also very knowledgeable in other areas. Some students dislike her because she forces students to think. So if you want to learn and think take Dr. Bailey. If you want to get by, dont.

There is a lot to say. As a person she is amazing, caring and wise. As a professor, her teaching methods are lacking, she will keep a power point slide up for 5 seconds and then moves on. She makes the subject matter unnecessarily harder than it needs to be. BUT, she is fair and gave a chance to re-do an exam and gives partial credit on quizzes.
