I have to disagree with the complaints, yeah he was arrogant the first week but he knew his material and always had us aware of our grades and the tests and quizzes were fair. Definitely need study groups and his study guide(you can print for free) to do well. It wasn't as bad as I expected and I actually learned about Astronomy.

He is one of the most egotistical, condescending people this Earth has seen. Don't ever ask a question,ever. he'll try to make you as feel as inferior as he possibly can. Even speaking with him privately is a pain. Because he's an adjunct, he's very hard to get a hold of. And if you need help with the material, look elsewhere, because he won't help

Horrible, i had him as a substitute for astronomy for almost a month and he made me want to drop out of the class. He is very arrogant and has a huge ego. He make the lectures very boring and he constantly picks on people and tries to make them look bad. Don't sign up for his class unless you absolutely have to

His ego is super huge, please don't ask him a question you will indeed feel stupid after asking it, he is good at that. Just try to understand his world and maybe you will strive I gave up...

o man..You people need to stop being little crybabys and get used to college, his ego is high yet he knows his stuff, he may be tough but hey most of us want an easy A don't we? wait till you go outside and work proffesionally, you wont even last a few days if your boss is like that -_-

ok so this guy is super boring.... really not helpful try to ask questions and he will make you feel stupid.. but if you go to class and memorize the practice test you will get and A did it all summer.. never paid attention and got an A easy class really boring..

Really easy class with study guide. prof thinks he knows everything about astronomy. always challenges people to make himself feel superior and student inferior. super annoying actually

NOT an easy A, or even an easy B. Very strict. Huge ego. Ask a question and he'll make you feel stupid for asking. The person with the highest grade in our class was an older lady who's husband is an engineer.

This professor is not helpful at all. He also likes to lock students out and is as cocky via email as he is in the classroom. Tends to asks questions knowing that you won't have the right answer and then talks down to those students when they get them wrong. For students who like to be active participants beware, for some reason he doesn't like it!

This class is SO easy it's not even funny to joke around about it. He gives practice exams, and answers to the practice exams. the exam questions are exactly like the practice exam questions and you can use notes. Quiz's are open note also. EASY A. I barely tried and i passed with flying colors. only bad thing is.. he's a little on the weird side.

Overall I thought he was a good teacher. Very entertaining, but can get out of hand at times. Will give as much help possible for tests. Is arrogant and a little weird. Has many years of experience and I would recommend him if you really want to learn about astronomy. If you are just taking the class for credits, this guy isn't for you.

this teacher is very helpful in every way. i should have got a D in the class but he gave me a C. As long as you study and show that you actually care to pass the class he will help you out. SUPER GOOD TEACHER

Stay away!!! He is awful and a mean person. Freak also...google his name and he has a website with nude pictures of himself! Loser!

This guy goes really in depth and covers a lot of material for an intro level class. You don't need the textbook whatsoever, just download his study guide off his site and do the practice exams and you should be fine. He can get a bit annoying during lectures as well, but just tune his voice out or something.

everyone is so mean. yeah he may be tough, but that's only because he deals with a lot of boneheads. he's just like any other teacher--he expects the best, so when you act like an idiot by coming late and not doing your homework, yea, he's going to be irritated. I think he's a nice guy, study though, and you'll do fine.

Very thorough with lectures, takes time to explain everything during his powerpoint lectures. Gives star parties a couple times a month. Quizzes are easy if you stay for the entire previous class, exams are difficult but not if you take good notes and follow his study guide online.

The quizzes are so easy. Just be in class the last 30 mintues take good notes and get a 10 on the quizzes because the quizzes open notes from his lectures 30 min b4 class is over. Exam easy if you read and do da study guide there should be no reasn u should not get at least a 70%. I got a 85%, 75%,50% did study,0% didnt show up, 65%. 20pts star pty

Just study the sample tests from the study guide and you will A's the test. He tells you the essay questions that will be on the test the class before the test. He confuses you some times but just stick to the sample test and u will pass...
