Mark teaches the labs and lectures, but he cancels almost every lab (we only had 3, but I think 10 were scheduled). The lectures are 3 hours but he never lectures that long. Super easy course but I didn't learn much. Nice guy but very lazy.

Mark is so kind, he exudes a great energy about him, as boring as some geography lectures can be he really takes the time to interact with students until they understand the material. His class is ultimately just good, good vibes. I am looking forward to taking him in the future, although his tests are a little hard, and you need to read the text.

His lecture notes made up a minority of content covered on exams and he never lectured for the full 3 hours. Exams were pretty much out of the textbook and most of the questions were definition based. The written part of the exam was tough because he did not explain the topics in class and they were not in the textbook either or vaguely mentioned.

He is honestly the best Professor. For the person below me, yes, you have to come to class and write his notes. If you are ever unsure of something, just go ask, he tells you exactly what he expects. You have to know his notes for exams and then the textbook statistics and dates mostly. I will definitely be taking his classes again. Love him!

Although he is a good lecturer, the slides are not posted online and make it difficult to understand group project content. The biggest issue is that he believes you should hear what people say, be able to interpret the important stuff, write it down. The problem with that is that no person learns like a factory and you need to adapt for your stud.

Teaches with enthusiasm and tells relevant stories, make sure you have a textbook for the labs, which can be done faster if you work in pairsgroups.

Mark is a great instructor. When you're assigned a three-hour lecture on a Friday morning, attendance may start to dwindle, but this class was good. He kept things short, not taking three hours unless he had to. Also, he adjusted lab times so students could be in and out as efficiently as possible. His notes are detailed and representative of tests

Mark is an incredibly kind professor who is always in a great mood. His class was interesting and all of the notes he gave were EXACTLY what the tests consisted of. If you don't get a minimum of an A in this class (from his help and his notes) it is your fault and you are just lazy. GREAT PROF

Mark is a cool dude. Very approachable, great sense of humour, and is an awesome prof to boot! While this course was an easy GNED filler for a Science major, it was very interesting regardless - learned a ton about the weather, and rivers, and how to read maps - lots of interesting everyday knowledge! Exams were easy and straightforward too.

I took Geog because I needed a science class to graduate. I'm terrible at math and science but Mark was a great teacher - funny and super approachable - so I actually enjoyed learning the stuff. If you take notes and attend the tutorials this is a very doable class.

I had Mark for the Science and Math literacy class, and which he taught the science part. He is a very nice teacher, and seems to know his stuff. Classes are somewhat boring, but notes are always on blackboard so if you don't go you won't miss much. I would defiantly recommend him for the decent tests and him being an easy marker.

He is very approachable. Though he is young and seems rather new to the instruction world of Universities, I would not hesitate to take another class of his. Not only is it clear that he is doing the best to help his students, he is also driven by the students to learn for himself. He fosters a very positive atmosphere in his classroom.
